Our compatriots, leaving for the USA for permanent residence, get Americal stay permit - temporary (conditional Green Card) or constant (absolute Green Card). They live in America as holdres of Green Card, and others pass the process of naturalization and become total-lot citizens of the USA. It is reasonable that most people aren't in a hurry to refuse from Russian citizenship. And they suffer with question: What does America think about double citizenship?
The USA's law doesn't forbit double citizenship. Some Americans have double citizenship automatically. For example, if someone was born abroad in the family of the USA citizens. Or in the USA in family of other state.

However, maybe it'll not come down - because of the simple reason that your request about getting citizenship can decline at once. For example, because in the application on naturalization you informed about yourself wittingly false information. Or because they consider: your love to States are insincere and the Oath of Faith is empty words for you. Then you should while away the time on the status of the resident of America, forever forget about your dream to become its citizen.
